Our Fundraising Committee Is"Shifting Paradigms" To Have a MAJOR Impact!
Since its inception, The Miami Central Alumni Association (MCAA) - which has been renamed The Miami Central Rockets Alumni Association (MCRAA) - a 501(c)3 Organization, has been "on a mission" to be of service to, as well as a valuable asset to Miami Central Senior High School, its students, and to the surrounding Communities. Although MCRAA was doing its best to adhere to its mission, it was clear that more was needed, thus more had to be done.
In September, 2022, The All-New Miami Central Rockets Alumni Association (MCRAA) Fundraising Committee was formed. Led by Chairperson Sherryl King-Weathers ('83), The MCRAA Fundraising Committee believes in using methods of Fundraising employed by "Top-Tier" Organizations to secure funds from Corporate entities by using "cutting-edge, outside-the-box" methods to fundraise dollars by the "thousands" instead of by the "hundreds".
Since its inception, The MCRAA Fundraising Committee has doubled the funds earned by MCRAA previously and has "ushered in" a new "excitement" to Fundraising - all while becoming "the Standard" of what a Fundraising Committee should be in a High School Alumni Association.
The Miami Central Rockets Alumni Association (MCRAA) Fundraising Committee is not your typical High School Alumni Association, "Mom & Pop" type of Fundraising Committee. We believe in exhibiting a "Five-Star" approach in terms of "The Four P's" - Professionalism, Personality, Production, and Profitability. The MCRAA Fundraising Committee is here to stay.
